PLUR

In this project, I wanted to communicate the energy and joy that result from rave culture’s core values, PLUR—standing for peace, love, unity and respect. These values enable a sense of inclusivity at musical festivals enabling people to come together to celebrate music, without conflict or judgement. Creating hand drawn sketches—of the DJ, the crowd, stage, and people’s hands—I collaged them together and used red to express the cultural warmth and energy of the values in action, and the negative space in black to bring the elements to life.
